President – Donald F. Klein
Donald Klein has served as President of MTE Corporation since September 2007. For two years prior to joining the Company, Mr. Klein was the CFO at Barksdale, Inc. in Los Angeles. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at Artesyn Technologies, a public company that designs and manufactures power conversion products for the computing, networking, and medical industries. At Artesyn, Mr. Klein held several key leadership positions in Operations (VP Manufacturing for North America and VP of Global Operations), Finance (Controller, VP of Finance), and in General Management, which entailed running a $30M high power products acquisition with full P&L responsibility. Previous to that, Mr. Klein was at Tandem Computers in Cupertino, CA and Reston, VA for 9 years, where he held increasingly responsible management positions in Finance and Operations at the $1B company. Don holds an MBA from San Francisco State University.
VP of Finance – Bill Bickel
Bill Bickel has served as the VP Finance / CFO for MTE since 2006. Prior to that Bill was Controller and VP of Finance for TEAL Electronics for 19 years. Bill’s experience and knowledge has brought success and added value to the accounting and finance segments of MTE. Prior to joining MTE, Bill was a Financial Analyst for an M&A firm and Director of Finance for a semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer. He holds a B.S. in Finance from San Diego State University.
Director of Business Systems and Human Resources – Jaclyn Ramm
Jaclyn Ramm has been with MTE Corporation as leader of Human Resources since October 2011. Jaclyn brings many years of HR experience within a manufacturing environment to MTE, and is responsble for Recruiting, Safety, Top-grading & Organizational Development, Legal Compliance, Compensation and Employee Relations. She spent more than six years in HR at AptarGroup, Inc. with regularly increasing responsiblities, and now utilizes that background to help MTE in both the planning and leadership of cross-functional teams. She holds Bachelor’s Degrees in HR Management and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
VP of Sales – Gary Jasinski
Gary Jasinski joined MTE Corporation in January 2004 as VP of Sales and Marketing. Gary started his sales and marketing career at Square D in various positions. After ten years at Square D, he joined San Diego Gas & Electric as Senior Marketing Product Manager and was a council member with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) for end-use Power Quality Mitigation Equipment and Motors and Drives. He then moved on to Powerware as Senior Program manager for OEM accounts before leading the OEM sales at Maxwell Technologies as Director of OEM Sales. Gary earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics from Chapman University and a Master’s Degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. Gary served 30 years in US Navy and US Navy Reserve before retiring as Command Master Chief.
VP of Business Development and Product Marketing – Z Zakaria
Z Zakaria joined MTE Corporation in March 2013 with 20 years of business development and marketing experience with an emphasis of growth and innovation in several global companies. Z started his career at Brady Corporation where he held various roles in engineering, sales, product marketing, and product development during a ten year tenure. He also worked at Newell-Rubbermaid as Global Marketing Manager, and was most recently at Actuant where he was Director of Business Development. Z earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Purdue University as well as an MBA from UW Eau Claire.
Director of Engineering – Todd Shudarek
Todd Shudarek has worked at MTE for more than 15 years. He joined the company as an Electrical Engineer, and later served as a Senior Project Engineer and then as a Principal Engineer. In addition to his professional experience at MTE, Todd worked for Hammond Power Solutions in Electrical Design and Development and at Cramer Coil and Transformer as a Senior Project Manager. Todd has published many technical articles on harmonics and motor protection, and has been awarded numerous patents. He holds a Masters of Engineering and Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Director of Operations – Philip Kondilas
Philip Kondilas joined MTE in 2018 as Director of Operations and is responsible for Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality for MTE’s two manufacturing facilities located in Mexico. Philip has an extensive background in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Continuous Improvement (Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies). Prior to MTE, Philip served as the Military Business Unit Lean Leader for Parker Hannifin. Prior to that he was Director of Performance Excellence for CoreLogic Credco. Philip has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from the University of South Florida.
