Leadership Team

VP of Business Development and Product Marketing – Z Zakaria

Z Zakaria joined MTE Corporation in March 2013 with 20 years of business development and marketing experience with an emphasis of growth and innovation in several global companies. Z started his career at Brady Corporation where he held various roles in engineering, sales, product marketing, and product development during a ten year tenure. He also worked at Newell-Rubbermaid as Global Marketing Manager, and was most recently at Actuant where he was Director of Business Development. Z earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Purdue University as well as an MBA from UW Eau Claire.

Director of Engineering – Todd Shudarek

Todd Shudarek has worked at MTE for more than 15 years.  He joined the company as an Electrical Engineer, and later served as a Senior Project Engineer and then as a Principal Engineer.   In addition to his professional experience at MTE, Todd worked for Hammond Power Solutions in Electrical Design and Development and at Cramer Coil and Transformer as a Senior Project Manager.  Todd has published many technical articles on harmonics and motor protection, and has been awarded numerous patents.  He holds a Masters of Engineering and Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Director of Operations – Philip Kondilas

Philip Kondilas joined MTE in 2018 as Director of Operations and is responsible for Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality for MTE’s two manufacturing facilities located in Mexico. Philip has an extensive background in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Continuous Improvement (Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies). Prior to MTE, Philip served as the Military Business Unit Lean Leader for Parker Hannifin. Prior to that he was Director of Performance Excellence for CoreLogic Credco. Philip has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from the University of South Florida.
