Features and Benefits of Matrix PureSineFlexible up-grading/redundancyIn the event that the real value of compensating current is higher than estimated, or the amount of compensating current required increased due to additional loads being added, there is no overload risk on the installed Matrix PureSine. Matrix PureSine has current limit capability up to its full rating, thus it will not shut down or malfunction but will continue to operate in full compensating mode. Additional Matrix PureSine modules can be added in parallel on site later to meet the increased compensating current capability. The maximum parallel operation configuration is 8 control modules and different capacity can be operated in parallel. Close/Open Loop ControlThe CT's can be installed on the source or load side to measure the harmonic current from the load. When the CT’s are installed on the source side, the close loop control method is the most accurate method of compensating harmonic current used for best accuracy of harmonic current compensation. Power Factor CorrectionMatrix PureSine not only compensates harmonic current but also the reactive power. Matrix PureSine is able to correct for either a leading or lagging power factor. User-Friendly Control PanelMatrix PureSine is equipped with a user friendly control panel. The graphic LCD panel with special blue back light offers access to all parameters, waveforms, & spectrum for management of both Matrix PureSine and system power quality. Communication CapabilityMatrix PureSine provides 2 communication slots: A RS232/USB communication card comes standard. A second slot is available to install an optional communication card.
Optional Monitoring SoftwareMatrix PureSine has optional monitoring software, SineSync, that can be used for remote monitoring and control. Some SineSync features are listed below:
