What is the difference between the Drive Fundamental Frequency (F_F) and the Drive Switching (Carrier) Frequency (F_SW)?

1. The Drive Fundamental Frequency (F_F) is the frequency of the Output Current. This frequency determines the speed of the motor. Also referred to as the Motor Frequency.

2. The Drive Switching (Carrier) Frequency (F_SW) is the frequency of the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Pulses, i.e. the frequency at which the Drive Output Semiconductors -- usually IGBTs (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors) -- are switching.
